HoriTail’s Punishment Fight is a belt-scrolling beat-’em-up set in a school where the girls have gone berserk with lust, and its pitch could not be more direct: fight your way through thirteen stages, and every clear pays out in a punishment animation — spanking, belly punching, choking, wetting. If your tastes run toward battle-fuck games with a punishment streak, rendered in pixel art, this is aimed squarely at you. If you came looking for sweet vanilla romance, turn around now.
What works

The smartest thing here is how tightly the ero is fused into the combat instead of being bolted on as a reward screen. Touching an enemy grabs her, and from there you punish her directly; land the killing blow that way and you get a dedicated cut-in, after which your character keeps working her over automatically until she goes down — no button mashing required, you just watch. There’s also a special area-of-effect “fuck” attack on attack-plus-jump that gets its own cut-in and auto-continue when it finishes an enemy off, and even items you pick up off the ground can be worked into the lewd offense. That’s the battle-fuck formula done properly: the H-content is the moveset, not a gallery you unlock after the boring part.
The content volume also looks respectable for a doujin action game. On top of the in-combat punishment animations, every stage clear triggers a dedicated punishment scene, twenty-four of them in total across the campaign, covering the spanking, gut-punch, choking, and wetting content the tags promise — plus restraint play with collars and chains in the mix. You alternate between two playable teachers, the hot-blooded male lead and Saeko-sensei, with the game assigning your character stage by stage, so the run has some built-in variety. Voice work and a proper soundtrack round out the package rather than leaving the pixel animations to carry everything in silence.

The framing, meanwhile, is exactly as much story as a belt-scroller needs and no more. The school’s girls have turned into rampaging nymphomaniacs, two teachers step up to restore order, Saeko-sensei gets abducted by an unknown party, and the chase ends at the principal’s office with a deliberate cliffhanger. It’s an excuse plot in the classic arcade mold — the hot-blooded-teacher archetype punching his way down school corridors — and the game seems fully aware of that, keeping the operation simple and leaning on straightforward, cathartic action rather than pretending to be something deeper.
What doesn’t

The obvious catch is how narrow the fetish menu is. Spanking, gut punches, choking, restraints — this is punishment content through and through, ryona-adjacent by any reasonable reading, and it makes up essentially the entire reward structure. If even one of those is a hard no for you, most of what the game pays out per stage is dead weight. The pixel-art presentation is a second filter: twenty-four scenes in dot animation is a genuinely different proposition from twenty-four fully drawn CG scenes, and buyers who need detailed illustration work won’t find it here. And since the game decides which teacher you control on each stage, you can’t simply main whichever of the two you prefer.
The listing also leaves some practical questions open. There’s no word on a scene replay gallery, difficulty options, or overall playtime, so how much game surrounds those twenty-four scenes is hard to judge from the outside. The trial version helps but only partially — it covers the first three stages, shows five of the punishment scenes, and restricts you to the male teacher, which means Saeko-sensei’s playable stages can’t be sampled at all before purchase.
Who should buy this

Get this if you’re a battle-fuck fan with punishment-leaning tastes — spanking, belly blows, restraint — and you actively like your ero earned through simple, arcade-style gameplay in pixel animation. Skip it if you need vanilla content, polished CG artwork, or any of the core fetishes here makes you flinch, because there is no alternate content track to fall back on.
Verdict

7 / 10 — a mechanically well-integrated, content-dense punishment brawler that knows exactly which niche it serves; run the demo first to confirm the pixel animations and the fetish lineup click for you, because if they do, the stage-clear reward loop looks like it delivers.
