What Is Doujin Honest?
Doujin Honest publishes plain-English reviews of DLsite games and visual novels for international buyers who want a straight answer before purchasing.
Most review sites either write in Japanese or lean toward promotional copy. We cover works that have English text support, English titles, or English-speaking fan communities — and we write honestly about what you actually get when you buy.
Editorial Policy
Every review is based on publicly available information from DLsite product pages, official announcements, and user feedback on the DLsite storefront. We do not fabricate gameplay impressions, invent plot details, or exaggerate ratings.
When a game has limited information available, we say so rather than padding the review with guesses.
We cover:
- Games with English text support (icon_ENG on DLsite)
- Works with English titles widely known in English-speaking communities
- DLsite-exclusive titles that international buyers may not easily discover otherwise
We do not cover:
- Games with no English connection whatsoever
- Works without sufficient public information for an honest description
