If you ever suspected that Blue Archive’s resident bike-obsessed delinquent deserved her own arcade game — and that said game would immediately go off the rails into deeply cursed territory — SafeSexion has you covered. Shiroko Ride is a side-scrolling action game in which Sensei’s precious day off gets hijacked for a touring date with Shiroko, who insists that 90 km/h counts as a friendly greeting back in Abydos. It’s aimed at people who want an actually playable score-attack loop wrapped around a big, fetish-dense CG collection — and who won’t flinch at a tag list that includes cuckoldry, anal, interspecies partners, and worse.
What works
The core loop is simple and surprisingly sticky. It’s a rightward-scrolling runner: Shiroko barrels down the road while you weave through obstacles and the rival men who keep wandering into her path, scooping up blue gems along the way. Time survived converts into score, gems convert into money, and the two currencies feed different systems — score unlocks H-scenes, money buys bike upgrades, helper items, and new rivals. That split gives every run a purpose. Upgrades are not cosmetic either; investing in durability and steering transforms Shiroko from a fragile cyclist into something nearly unkillable, and there are shop items that reshape what actually spawns on the road. The difference between an early, fumbling run and a fully kitted-out one is dramatic, which is exactly what you want from this genre. It has that old browser-game energy — you tell yourself one more run and then it’s two hours later. The pixel-art Shiroko sprites, with their various animations along the road, do a lot of work in making the moment-to-moment play charming rather than purely functional.
The content volume is serious for a gag game: 35 base CGs, 4 standing-art bases, and 93 variations for 132 images total. The structure is systematic — each rival character gets his own set covering vanilla sex, anal, and an excretion scene. And here’s a genuinely thoughtful touch: the scat elements can be toggled off entirely, so players who came for the NTR or the interspecies content can filter out what they didn’t sign up for. That kind of granular fetish accommodation is rarer than it should be in doujin games, and the circle deserves credit for it.
The tone is the other pillar. This is a comedy first. The premise — dodging “unusually numerous pedestrians” while Shiroko boasts about having the best handling in Kivotos — is played completely straight, and the game gleefully repurposes the source material’s famously pristine “crystal-clear world” branding as a punchline about what it’s actually selling. Even the NTR content lands softer than the tags suggest: Shiroko accepts her collisions with rival men so matter-of-factly that the whole thing reads less like dark betrayal and more like an absurd, almost good-natured escalation. If hard-edged despair NTR isn’t your thing, this is the goofy variant.
What doesn’t
The economy is front-loaded with grind. Early on, gems come in slowly and runs end fast, and the game doesn’t tell you that one specific mid-tier shop item essentially solves the entire difficulty curve by clearing enemies off the road and flooding it with gems. Before you find it, progress crawls; after you buy it, the challenge largely evaporates. That’s a balance problem in both directions — too stingy at the start, too trivial once you crack it. Related: there’s no full-gallery unlock option, so seeing all 132 images means putting in the runs whether or not the runner still entertains you. For an adult game aimed partly at busy people who want to get to the point, that’s a real annoyance.
Two smaller gripes. The impregnation tag is technically honored — there are insemination shots — but don’t expect pregnant-belly variations; the theme stops short of where the tag implies it goes. And the developer openly warns that the game was built on an unstable engine and asks buyers to test the trial version first. Take that warning seriously: check that it runs on your machine before paying.
Finally, the obvious one — this game’s kink stack is a minefield by design. Cuckoldry, anal, interspecies and bestial partners, humiliation, violation, and (toggleable) scat all live in the same package. The toggle helps, but if the core NTR-flavored premise of Shiroko being passed around rival males is a dealbreaker, no settings menu will save you.
Who should buy this
This is a Japanese-only release with no official English support, but it’s close to the best-case scenario for import buyers: it’s an action game, not a text game. The story content amounts to short comedic exchanges, the shop and upgrade menus are simple enough to brute-force or run through a phone camera translator, and the H-scenes are CG-driven rather than prose-driven. You can extract 90% of what this game offers without reading a word of Japanese — you’ll just miss some of the parody dialogue. Buy it if you’re a Blue Archive fan with a soft spot for Shiroko, an appetite for lighthearted NTR and its adjacent kinks, and fondness for old-school score-attack runners. Skip it if you need story depth, hate grinding for your gallery, or saw anything in that tag list that made you wince.
Verdict
7 / 10 — a genuinely fun arcade loop, a huge CG count, and rare fetish-toggle courtesy make this an easy recommendation for its (very specific) audience, held back from higher marks by lopsided balance, missing quality-of-life unlocks, and engine jank the developer themselves warns you about.
