A kunoichi sneaks into the mansion of a powerful figure in the capital to steal a forbidden scroll, only to find that the scroll itself is a cursed object that floods her body with heat for as long as she carries it. Hips Won’t Stop: Kunoichi Edition, from the circle Himitsu no Tachinomiya, is a short stealth-escape adventure built on that premise: slip past guards, work the mansion’s switches and traps, and keep an arousal gauge from topping out before you get back out the door. It is aimed squarely at players who like the “stripped on capture, corrupted by pleasure” loop of 2D stealth H-games and who want every scene animated in Live2D rather than shown as static CG.
What works

The setup is tight and the mechanics match it. You play a young kunoichi of the Pyonpyon clan, described as calm, agile, and strongly dutiful — exactly the kind of composed operator whose gradual unraveling is the point. The scroll you are sent to steal spreads a “sweet heat” through whoever holds it, so the arousal gauge starts climbing from the moment the mission technically succeeds. Contact with enemies pushes it up further. Hit the cap and the mission fails. That single gauge ties the stealth, the puzzle-solving, and the H content into one pressure system rather than bolting scenes onto an unrelated game, and it gives every guard encounter real stakes beyond “reload.”
The ninjutsu toolkit is the part that reads best on paper. Four skills are mapped to A/S/D/F: Fire Escape, Concealment, Mental Focus, and a fourth for straightening out your disheveled outfit. Putting out lights narrows the guards’ field of view, hiding lets pursuit pass you by, and ninjutsu plus items are your means of holding the arousal gauge down. Getting caught triggers a struggle input: break free and you continue, fail and your outfit gets stripped, leaving you more exposed for the next encounter. The mansion also has obstacles and switch puzzles that require examining the environment and reading hints, so it is not purely a patrol-dodging exercise. For a game that advertises a 30-minute to one-hour runtime, that is a reasonable amount of interlocking systems.

On the H side, the circle’s main selling point is that every scene is Live2D animated — no static CG, no slideshow scenes. Higami-chan handles illustration, Live2D, UI, and backgrounds, with Naeganu on programming and scenario, so the visual style should be consistent throughout. The tags tell you what to expect: big-breasted kunoichi, pleasure corruption, tentacles, creampie, and non-consensual content, with the tentacle element presumably tied to the “inhuman presence” the description says lurks deeper in the mansion alongside a darker truth about the scroll. There is also a branching detail worth noting: depending on the escape route you take, the kunoichi can end up with a “lewd crest” curse on top of everything else. A full scene-unlock feature is included, so nobody has to replay the stealth sections just to see what they missed.
What doesn’t

The runtime is the obvious issue. Thirty minutes to an hour is the circle’s own estimate, and that is for a stealth game with capture scenes built in — meaning a fair chunk of that time is watching animations rather than playing. Whether that feels fair depends entirely on the price, which I cannot evaluate here, but anyone expecting a meaty stealth campaign should recalibrate: this is a compact escape-room-style scenario with one protagonist and one location, and the description itself calls it a short escape game.
Two smaller caveats. The game is keyboard-first — the circle explicitly recommends keyboard play and describes mouse input as only a partial supplement, and there is no mention of controller support at all. The struggle-input mechanic on capture is also the kind of thing that splits players: some like the tension of fighting free while the gauge rises, others find it a chore that interrupts the scenes they actually want to see, and the listing does not say how punishing it is. The description also never mentions voice acting, so do not assume the scenes are voiced. There were no community reviews available at the time of writing, so this assessment is based on the circle’s own description rather than hands-on reports.
Who should buy this

This is a Japanese-only release with no English support. The good news is that most of what it offers — stealth movement, skill use, capture animations, Live2D H-scenes — works without reading a word. The bad news is that the mansion includes switch puzzles that expect you to investigate your surroundings and read hints, and the menus and skill descriptions are in Japanese, so expect some trial and error or keep a texthooker or OCR translator handy for the puzzle sections. If you enjoy short 2D stealth H-games where the heroine’s composure erodes over the run, you are into kunoichi and tentacle content, and you are fine with a one-sitting length, this is a sensible pickup. If you want a long campaign, English text, or mouse-driven controls, look elsewhere.
Verdict

7 / 10. The arousal-gauge loop, the four-skill ninjutsu kit, and all-Live2D scenes make for a focused, well-designed short stealth H-game, but the one-hour ceiling and Japanese-only puzzle text keep it from being more than a quick, satisfying bite for English-speaking players.
