Adventurer Elise: Village Incident (冒険者エリーゼ とある村での出来事) is a short netorare RPG from circle Aoringo, made in RPG Maker MZ, about an adventurer who takes a village commission that is very obviously a trap. If your tastes run toward fantasy heroines slowly cornered by a scheming village chief — with elf, thwarted-love (BSS), and cuckoldry tags stacked on top — this one is aimed squarely at you. Everyone else should read on, because it’s a compact, Japanese-only title that you’re mostly buying on premise, tags, and a trial version.
What works

The setup is short but does its job. Elise arrives in a village on a job; the chief asks her to broker peace with a band of thieves living nearby; and the synopsis itself tells you something about the request doesn’t add up. The actual dramatic question — can Elise escape the chief’s grip as it gradually closes around her — is stated right up front. For netorare fans, that’s efficient signaling: you know the shape of the story before you buy, and the tension the genre lives on (watching the trap close on a heroine who half-suspects it) is baked into the premise rather than sprung as a bait-and-switch. The BSS tag adds the “I wanted her first” angle on top of straight cuckoldry, which tells you the fall won’t happen in a vacuum — someone is positioned to watch it happen and hate it.
The tag lineup is equally legible about the physical appeal: breasts, buttocks, and a touch/feel element, with an elf/fairy tag that — going by the tag list — points to Elise herself being an elf. Forty base CG for a self-described short RPG is a healthy count, enough to cover the escalation the premise implies without stretching a handful of images across the whole runtime. There are also animation and music tags on the listing, though the description doesn’t spell out how much of the game is animated, so temper expectations until you’ve seen it move.

On the practical side, RPG Maker MZ is a point in its favor. It’s a modern, stable engine that runs without fuss on current Windows machines, and — relevant for readers of this blog — it’s one of the friendliest engines for machine-translation tools. The developer also provides a trial version and explicitly asks buyers to test it, which is exactly what you should do with a work this lightly documented.
What doesn’t

The listing is thin, and that’s the honest core problem. The synopsis is three sentences. You learn nothing about the bandits, what the chief’s scheme actually involves, how the touch/feel element works, how the scenes break down, or how long “short” really is. With no price confirmed at the time of writing either, you’re going in on tags, forty CG, and a trial — that’s a real leap of faith, and the review you’re reading can only be as deep as the information available. The premise itself is also well-worn territory: shady authority figure, pretext quest, heroine walking into a trap. Nothing in the synopsis promises a twist beyond “something seems off,” so if you’ve played a lot of village-chief NTR, you can probably storyboard this one in your head.
And the obvious caveat: this is netorare with a thwarted-love angle, full stop. That’s the entire emotional payload. If BSS and cuckoldry make you close the tab, there is nothing else here for you — this isn’t a game with an NTR route on the side; it’s the whole pitch.
Who should buy this

This is a Japanese-only release with no official English support, so plan around that. The good news is that RPG Maker MZ games pair well with machine-translation tools like MTool or a texthooker, and a short RPG keeps the text load manageable. The bad news is that netorare lives on dialogue — the coercion, the denial, the sting — so playing with zero Japanese and no tools will gut most of the appeal even if the CGs land on their own. Recommended for NTR/BSS fans who like fantasy adventurer heroines, are fine with a short playtime, and can either read Japanese or tolerate machine translation. Whatever your setup, run the trial first; the developer asks you to, and with a listing this sparse it’s the only way to judge the art and animation before paying.
Verdict

6 / 10 — on paper. The premise is focused, the kink lineup is exactly as labeled, and forty base CG is respectable for a short RPG, but the threadbare listing, familiar setup, and language barrier mean you’re buying a known genre shape rather than a known game, so let the trial version cast the deciding vote.
