Freyja’s Potion Shop is a battle-fuck RPG from circle war shop that bolts an erotic twist onto the classic shopkeeping loop: you gather materials, defeat monsters, brew potions, and sell them — and your customers frequently want more than potions. If you like female-protagonist games where the heroine gets ground down by both the monsters she fights and the townsfolk she serves, and you’re fine with everything being in Japanese, this one covers a lot of that ground in a single package.
What works

The core hook is the two-track structure. On one side you have battle sex — nine monster types plus one soldier type can violate Freyja mid-combat, including a plant enemy that latches onto her breasts during a fight. On the other side you have the shop itself, where the erotic content grows out of the money-making loop: a customer asks to grope her breasts as part of a sale, someone requests a sensitivity-boosting potion and then uses it on her, she gets surrounded by men in the bath, gets spanked as punishment while working a maid job, and takes shifts at the tavern that go predictably wrong. Tying the lewd content to the economy — put up with more, earn more — gives the H-scenes an in-game reason to exist rather than just being a gallery you unlock. The story frame is simple but functional: Freyja is working off a fine while hunting for a potion of immortality, which justifies the constant scramble for cash.
Every H-scene is animated, with around 60 base animation frames across the game, split roughly 39 for human scenes and 21 for monster scenes. For a doujin RPG, full animation on every scene is a genuine selling point — plenty of games in this genre still ship with static CG and a text box. The game is also voiced and has its own music, and there are three distinct endings, each with its own erotic event, which gives you some reason to replay or at least save-scum the finale. The fetish coverage matches the tags honestly: successive orgasms, ahegao, a busty witch protagonist, and group scenarios where Freyja is passed around by multiple men.

The gameplay loop itself — gathering, monster-hunting for materials, potion synthesis, filling customer orders, plus tavern side-work — is a proven formula for this kind of game. It’s not reinventing anything, but it means the game has an actual play structure to hang its scenes on instead of being a corridor between events.
What doesn’t

The biggest caveat is right in the developer’s own content warning: some of the monsters are insects, and there are insect birth scenes. That’s a hard stop for a lot of people, and it’s baked into the battle-sex side of the game rather than being an optional corner. If insect content ruins a game for you, know that going in. Relatedly, if you’re here specifically for the battle fuck, note the balance: monster scenes get 21 animation frames against 39 for the human-side content. The shopkeeping and townsfolk scenarios are clearly the main course; the combat sex is the smaller half.
The premise is also a thin pretext, and the game doesn’t hide it. “Pay off a fine, find the immortality potion” is scaffolding for a situation list, not a story anyone is playing for. And with the price and polish being unknowns from the outside, the developer’s own advice applies doubly here: download the trial version first, both to check that it runs on your machine and to see whether the animation quality and scene tone actually land for you before you pay.
Who should buy this

This game is Japanese-only, with no official English support. The good news is that it’s a gameplay-and-animation-driven work, not a text-heavy one — the loop of gathering, brewing, selling, and triggering animated scenes is readable from context, so English speakers can get most of the value with minimal Japanese, especially with a machine-translation overlay or texthooker for potion recipes and customer requests. Buy it if you want a corruption-flavored shopkeeping RPG with a busty witch heroine, fully animated scenes, and a mix of human group scenarios and monster battle sex — and skip it outright if insect enemies or insect birth are dealbreakers.
Verdict

7 / 10. Full animation on every scene, a voiced busty-witch protagonist, three endings, and an economy that feeds directly into the erotic content make this a solid entry in the potion-shop-plus-battle-fuck niche — held back mainly by its niche-splitting insect content, a story that’s pure pretext, and human scenes outweighing the monster side for anyone who came for the battles.
