Fallen Witches (フォーリンウィッチーズ) — Honest Review

Reviewed work by Nyopami · View on DLsite

A third-person magic shooter where you clear procedurally generated dungeons, defeat the girls you find there, and haul them back to a hideout that slowly fills with an entire harem — Fallen Witches is one of those rare doujin works where the game part is a real game and the sex part is a genuine content mountain rather than a gallery of stills. It’s aimed squarely at players who want corruption-to-affection progression, impregnation mechanics, and a “collect them all” checklist attached to their H-scenes. If you bounce off anything that treats women as gameplay resources, this is not going to be the work that changes your mind.

What works

The loop is the strongest thing here. The dungeon side is auto-generated, so each descent shuffles the layout, the weapon pickups, and the items you’re scavenging; the description also mentions terrain shifts and light puzzle elements to keep runs from collapsing into pure corridor-clearing. Combat is a magic-based TPS with the difficulty tuned deliberately low, and the developer is upfront about prioritizing pace and satisfaction over challenge — but randomization and time pressure still force some improvisation. The clever bit is that you play as the girls: every girl you break in becomes a playable character in the dungeon, which means the H-content and the action content feed each other instead of sitting in separate boxes. Beat a girl in combat, take her to the hideout, corrupt her, and your roster grows. That’s a genuinely well-designed feedback loop for this genre, and it’s not something most doujin action titles bother to build.

The stat layer is more elaborate than the premise suggests. Each girl carries affection, a “development” value that rises with sex and makes her climax more easily, plus a status readout covering her species and whether she’s still a virgin. Sex drains stamina, so you can’t just grind endlessly — you have to budget. The description explicitly frames this as strategic play: take a girl’s first time, hit her weak spots, time creampies to her fertile days. There are twenty distinct acts mapped to foreplay and penetration by body part, and once a girl is fully fallen, the training-style scenes convert into affectionate lover scenes with extra content unlocked on top. That corruption-into-sweetness arc is the emotional spine of the whole thing, and the tag list backs it up: dub-con and pleasure corruption sitting right next to lovey-dovey and virgin.

Then there’s the sheer volume. Over ten location-based situations in the hideout — bath, toilet, kitchen, bedroom, the forest outside — plus a dedicated harem room with forty listed acts spanning group scenes, yuri, futanari, lactation handjobs, and various abnormal play including watersports and scat. Some acts are gated behind conditions like specific species or virginity, which turns the whole thing into a completion checklist. Species-specific scenes (fox, cat, elf, rabbit, dog, demon, oni, dragon, human) give the roster mechanical texture beyond a skin swap. There’s also an alchemy system for converting scavenged items into money that scales with how many girls you’ve collected, a research room for unlocking training bonuses and dungeon abilities, and the post-launch updates have been substantial — a hundred-girl prison in ver3, a second hundred-girl annex in ver5 where you can arrange girls freely for orgies, and lover-route bath scenes in ver4. That’s a developer still actively feeding the thing.

What doesn’t

Fallen Witches — drawback example scene

The low difficulty is a stated design goal, not an accident, but it does mean the action half is more of a pleasant delivery mechanism than something you’d play for its own sake. If you came for a shooter, this isn’t one — it’s a shooter-shaped funnel that pours girls into the sex systems. Procedural generation also cuts both ways: randomized dungeons keep runs fresh at first, but auto-generated layouts rarely have the hand-crafted memorability that makes exploration compelling twenty hours in, and the “new discoveries every visit” promise is doing some heavy lifting.

The bigger practical issue is performance. The developer added a quality-selection option in ver2 specifically so people could drop settings to make it run lighter, and explicitly does not guarantee it will work even then — and the trial version notes ask you to verify it runs on your machine before buying. That’s an unusually direct warning, and you should take it seriously: this is a full 3D title from a small circle, and a machine that handles 2D eroge fine may not handle this. Play the trial first. Non-negotiable. Content-wise, the scale is also its own risk — forty harem acts plus twenty solo acts plus condition-gated unlocks means a lot of scenes are variations rather than distinct experiences, and if you’re not a completionist the checklist may start feeling like homework. Controller support also only covers the action segments, and only Xbox pads.

Who should buy this

Fallen Witches — target audience scene

Japanese-only, no official English support. That said, this is about as friendly as an untranslated work gets for a non-Japanese buyer: it’s a 3D action game where the moment-to-moment loop is shooting, looting, and picking acts from menus, and the H-content is visual rather than narrated. You’ll be navigating menus by icon and position, and you will miss the flavor text in Arol’s research room and the girls’ hideout chatter, but nothing here is a text-heavy story or a puzzle that gates progress behind reading. Machine translation or a texthooker will smooth out the menus if you want them; you don’t strictly need either. Buy it if you want harem-building, pleasure corruption sliding into lover-route sweetness, impregnation, and a very long fetish checklist that includes yuri and futanari as first-class content. Skip it if hard-noncon framing is a dealbreaker, if you want a real combat challenge, or if your PC is marginal.

Verdict

Fallen Witches — final verdict visual

8.5 / 10 — an unusually well-integrated doujin action game where the dungeon crawl, the roster growth, and the enormous sex content all genuinely feed one another, held back mainly by intentionally shallow combat and 3D performance demands the developer himself won’t guarantee.
